GARY who? That's what plenty of SuperCoaches are asking as the race to finalise teams before tonight's partial lockout enters its last few hours.

Ablett, Dane Swan and Jobe Watson may take the end-of-year plaudits, but at this stage of the footy season we can talk about Jaeger O'Meara, Jack Viney and Brett Goodes in the same breath as the superstars of the game.

The four most popular defenders -- Goddard, Goodes, Bryce Gibbs and Nick Vlastuin -- have dual-position status, as do five of the nine most popular forwards.

Choose them wisely, spread them across the lines and you will reap the rewards -- just as you will if you pick O'Meara, Viney and Goodes.
